Disability Day Art & Action festival culminates on the International Day of Persons with Disabilities at the Helsinki City Museum on Monday 3rd of December! The event is free for everyone and contains discussions, panels and high-level performances. We want to show you that disability does not have to limit your abilities or participation in culture or art scene either as an enthusiast or as a professional. The most impressive act in the field of disability culture will be rewarded with acknowledged Vimma prize and enclosed 5000€ grant.

At the event you can enjoy the delicacies from Aula työkoti's pop-up café Liemi and make wonderful quality purchases from pop-up art sale points from Lyhty ry’s Luovilla, Pertin Valinta, Abilis Foundation, Aula työkoti and Autism Foundation Keppuli. Mieletöntä valoa has commemorated festival atmosphere throughout the weeks and the results are at display at the main event.

The event is free for everyone and there is no admission fee! Event is Sign Language interpreted and there is an induction loop. The museum is accessible through the main door (Aleksanterinkatu 16).
