Pertti’s Choice Popup is the London branch of Pertin Valinta, Finland’s first social enterprise owned by people with learning disabilities. Pertti’s Choice takes over Protein Studios in Shoreditch between 7–10 August with outsider art, music performances, vegan café and a shop.
Both in Finland and in the UK, art organisations are exploring models to make it possible for artists with disabilities to build careers. What can artists and organisations in the two countries learn from each other?
